WHO IS NAV?

I just poured a 8th in a liter / Throw some Jolly Ranchers in make it sweeter Versace my clothes I’m with a white hoe / And she snortin’ three lines like Adidas – Nav

Back in early September when Travis Scott Dropped BITTSM, there was a specific song that came on and automatically I thought Justin Bieber? Even when the video for “beibs in the trap” dropped, I was confused as to why it said feat. Nav. Six months later it all came together. As I sit here blazed out my face, reading that not only was Nav featured on beibs in the trap, but he also produced the song.

Nav is from Ontario, Canada and he is also signed to The Weekend’s label XO/Republic Records. Also known as Beats by Nav the Canadian rapper who was born in 1995 has gotten co-signs from Kyle Jenner, Drake, Belly, Travis Scott and many others just to name a few. There are no interviews w/ Nav but he has three videos on youtube a handful of singles on soundcloud and was also heard on Drake’s OVO radio on Apple Music.

He recently dropped his first mixtape self titled “Nav” which is a collection of eleven druggy, lovey, trap and your boyfriends a poor guy type tracks. He has The Weekend featured on a song called “Some Way” and he also was able to get super busy, well know super producer Metro Boomin for a song called “Up”. Word on the street he has a project fully produced by Metro, which should be very good since the song “Up” is probably the best song on the album.

Make sure you check out Nav the newest artist to look out for in 2017. Let’s hope we get more music videos and at least an interview. Tell us what you think about Nav and possibly being the next big thing in music(maybe).
